Z3800 Chain and Flight Scraper
Non-metallic chains and sprockets of top quality- Robust head shaft and stub shaft design in stainless steel
- Drive chain tensioner integrated in drive base
The Zickert Z3800 Chain and Flight Scraper features materials and components that guarantee long, problem-free operation. The steel used is stainless or acid resistant. Where appropriate, plastic components are used as they are lighter and resistant to wear. Each individual application presents its own special requirements, and these are matched by the choice of materials used.
The collector and drive chain is made of integrally molded links of fibre-glass reinforced nylon. It is thus extremely durable, noncorrosive and simple to assemble. All sprockets are made of modern structural plastics. The chain saver rim and the odd number of sprocket teeth double the lifespan of both chain and sprocket.

The C channel-shaped flights are of fiberglass resin or aluminium. The wear shoes attached to the flights are made of UHMW and are completely reversible, giving two usable surfaces. They are extremely tough yet have very low friction coefficient
Head and stub shafts consist of stainless steel or acid-proof steel. The head shaft rotate in bearings mounted to the tank walls.
The drive unit assembly consists of a drive sprocket, drive chain, gearmotor, motor base with built-in chain tensioner and protective cover.
