MevaPress CPS

The combination of MevaPress SWP (Screw Wash Press) and MevaPress CPS (Counter Pressure Screw) produces an end product optimal for incineration. The result is a product that achieves DS contents of 50-60%, shredded screenings and a superior washing effect. CPS gives a superior results compared to an SWP with a traditional pipe system. The CPS also works as a conveyor enabling long vertical conveying distances.

Why intensive washing and pressing?
In many countries depositing of screenings with high organic content is forbidden. There is therefore a trend towards incineration of screenings. This leads to demands for high DS content and screenings with high cleanliness. MevaPress CPS gives superior water and weight reduction of screenings which leads to decreased disposal costs.
